Hello, my name is Mark Callender and I am a licensed real estate agent with RE/MAX Results. Because I have been helping families buy and sell their homes for more than 18 years, I am now helping their children to buy their first homes and their parents to downsize. No matter the direction you’re moving, my goal is to make the process as calm and enjoyable as it can be.

I have always loved houses, architecture and people, so real estate is a natural career for me. In the 1990s, I worked as an appraiser, which is a tremendously handy skill to bring to real estate sales. Whether you’re selling or buying, my ability to create an accurate Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) ensures the best price possible for you.

No question, real estate is a fast-paced industry abuzz with statistics, trends and paperwork, but for me it is really about helping people. I pride myself in doing my job accurately and professionally, but it’s the relationships I truly value. For that reason I follow through on my promises and make a point of giving back. I live by the Golden Rule, meaning I treat everyone the way I would like to be treated. I try to put myself in your shoes, so I can understand your needs and worries.

I listen more than I talk. I do what I say. And I follow up. I have a small team to help me behind the scenes, but when you call me it is me you get on the phone. And I will always be there for you, from the first time we meet to closing on your home and beyond. Being there for you is the only way I can assure you it will all work out in the end—and it always does.

Yes, I live real estate, but I am careful to make time for my biggest priority: my family. My wife, Teresa, and I have a very talented musician son, Derek, who just released his first CD; and our daughter, Courtney, a skilled soccer goalie, hopes to continue to play soccer as she pursues her pediatric nursing degree. Together we attend as many of Derek’s shows and as many of Courtney’s games as possible. We also enjoy cruising the local streets in our 1968 Chevelle SS, and given the fact that the one-time drag car averages five miles to the gallon, I do mean local streets.
